Comprehensive sex- and tissue-specific transcriptome of the destructive invasive pest <i>Tuta absoluta </i>adults

In this study, we generated a comprehensive sex- and tissue-specific transcriptome data of <i>Tuta absoluta</i> adults, which is a perfect sequel to the recently released chromosome-level genome data. Five tissues (antenna, head without antenna, wing, legs, thorax without wings and abdomen) of both sexes were sampled. Totally, 36 libraries (three biological replicates for each tissue) were generated.
