Uncertainty in Regional Monsoon Responses to Solar Radiation Modification Is Often Greater Across Models Than Across Strategies
收藏资源简介:
Regional monsoon metrics for the paper “Uncertainty in Regional Monsoon Responses to Solar Radiation Modification Is Often Greater Across Models Than Across Strategies” (Wang et al., submitted to Earth System Dynamics). The dataset contains monsoon onset, retreat, duration, peak timing, active-season and core-season precipitation, wet-day frequency and wet-day intensity for six IPCC AR6 monsoon regions. They are computed from daily precipitation for every ensemble member of CESM2, UKESM1-1-LL, E3SM and MIROC-ES2H under SSP2-4.5 and three GeoMIP G6-1.5K solar radiation modification experiments: stratospheric aerosol injection (G6-1.5K-SAI), high-latitude stratospheric aerosol injection (G6-1.5K-HiLLA) and marine cloud brightening (G6-1.5K-MCB). Historical simulations and GPM IMERG V07 observations (1998–2014) are included for comparison.
