Composite Quartairprofieltypekaart Vlaanderen (1/50.000) - Vectorized

This map should be used as an overlay on the Quartairprofieltypekaart Vlaanderen (1/50.000), which gives a picture of the common Quartaire profiletypes for the whole of Flanders. If this card is activated, information about the profile type present at a certain location can be retrieved directly. Fiches with the profile types are not yet linked to the map layer for all map sheets. This is still being worked on. This map is compiled on the basis of the individual Quartairgeological profile type maps per map sheet on a scale of 1/50,000. Each individual map per map sheet displays the sequence of most recent deposits. These deposits are aeolian, fluviatile, tidal or slope deposits. The planes of the quaternary map represent the zones where similar successions of specific quaternary layers (profile types) occur. The thickness of the various constituent layers of a profile type must be indicated, in particular, by the additional isohypse and isopache maps and the additional texts for each map sheet. Quaternary deposits in Flanders are laterally and vertically heterogeneous and vary greatly in thickness.本地图需作为法兰德斯第四纪剖面类型图（Quartairprofieltypekaart Vlaanderen，比例尺1:50000）的叠加图层使用，该原图可完整展示全法兰德斯范围内的常见第四纪剖面类型。激活本图层后，可直接查询特定点位对应的剖面类型信息。目前并非所有图幅的剖面类型说明卡均已关联至该地图图层，相关工作仍在推进中。本地图基于各图幅1:5万比例尺的单幅第四纪地质剖面类型图编制而成。每幅单图均展示了区域内最新的沉积序列，此类沉积涵盖风成沉积、河流沉积、潮汐沉积与坡积物。第四纪地图的各分区代表了特定第四纪地层（剖面类型）具备相似叠置序列的区域。剖面类型各组成地层的厚度，需通过各图幅的附加等厚线图（isopache maps）、等深线图（isohypse maps）及附加说明文本予以明确标注。法兰德斯区域的第四纪沉积在横向与垂向上均表现出非均质性，且厚度差异显著。
