This dataset provides the most recent health inspection scores for permitted food establishments within the City of Farmers Branch. It is intended to promote transparency and help residents make informed dining decisions. What’s Included Inspection scores for establishments categorized as: Heavy Light Pre-Packaged / No Food Preparation Routine health inspections (pre-operational inspections are excluded) Active, permitted businesses currently operating within the city Inspections conducted on or after October 1, 2024 Inspection Scoring Criteria Health inspections are scored on a scale of 100 and below. The higher the score, the fewer violations observed at the time of inspection. Excellent: 97–100 Good: 90–96 Satisfactory: 81–89 Poor: 71–80 Failing: 70 and below For more information about food safety and grading criteria, please visit the Food Safety page. How Scores Are Determined Scores are based on routine or permit inspections only. A score remains in effect until the next routine or permit inspection is conducted at the facility.
