Exception to the break-up ban for catch crops in the Rhineland in North Rhine-Westphalia
From 2018, certain districts and non-district cities in the Rhineland region will have the possibility to break down catch crops grown as ecological focus areas under the greening obligations from 1 February. The early changeover date also applies to catch crops grown after legume cultivation under greening as well as undersown crops in the context of the provision of ecological focus areas. It is not possible to advance the conversion date for catch crops supported under the Directive on support for agri-environmental measures. Here, 16 February is still considered the earliest date, even if these are designated as ecological focus areas in the context of greening. The current database is static and is only retrieved if necessary.
