Sediment microbiome and potential pathogens in urban streams in Kenya

This study entails comprehensive analysis of the spatial microbial distribution in the sediments of Kisat and Auji streams, which drain into the eastern part of Lake Victoria's Winam Gulf via Kisumu City. it also investigated potential links between bacterial composition and environmental factors. this study provides valuable information for ecological risk assessment, the potential use of sediment microbial communities in monitoring and controlling urban pollution of surface waters.
