DP Street Centre Line (OpenData)

This entity is derived as a copy of the StreetCentreLine feature allowing for the assignment of Road Hierarchies as published in the District Plan. These road hierarchies may be different that the road hierarchies set in the StreetCentreLine model as the District Plan only differentiates between the following hierarchies: Collector, Major Arterial, Minor Arterial, Central City Local Distributor, Central City Main Distributor and Local Road. By default, all roads are considered Local Roads, but a Plan Change is required to legally define a road as any other hierarchy. This entity can initially be updated using stored procedure CCC.uspUpdatedrvDPStreetCentreLine. This will add new roads, update any of the attributes inherited from the StreetCentreLine feature (e.g. StreetCentreLineID, ServiceStatus and Shape), and delete any features that no longer exist in source table. To this end, this model has an additional Legal Status, two Plan Change identifiers reserved for road changes, as well as a customized trigger to allow updates of SHAPE and ServiceStatus for operative features. Any changes to road hierarchies are to be updated manually and can follow the normal editing guidelines. It is spatially abstracted to a Line that is segmented at each intersection (for example Colombo Street is comprised of many segments) and may also be artifically segmented for Uturn bays or to resolve number range discrepancies.
