We sequenced and assembled the genome of the Vulnerable (IUCN Red List) North American Yellow-banded bumblebee. We also sequenced 22 individuals from different parts of Canada to perform a population genomic analysis focused on conservation issues, such as degree of inbreeding, population size, etc.
