River Urban Impact (OpenData)

This entity describes the impact of Urbanisation on the River Environment by adding up all the components of the Christchurch River Environment Assessment System (CREAS) model impact equation. The components of the equation are the Channel Meander, Velocity, Velocity Heterogeneity, Water Depth Heterogeneity, Width Heterogeneity, Substrate Type, Substrate Heterogeneity, Soft Sediment Depth, Silt In Matrix, Bank Material (Lower and Upper Bank), Riparian Vegetation (Lower and Upper Bank) Impact factors, all of which are derived from surveyed River Environment data. Both derivations and adding the derivations is done in raster format. It is spatially abstracted to a line. Entity type: Concept.
