This database provides diverse food nutrition information including analytical data/metadata, historical data, foundation food data, label data and other relevant datasets. It is managed by the Agricultural Research Service (Beltsville Human Nutrition Research Center) under the USDA, and hosted by the National Agricultural Library. The dataset is updated every six months, and some specific data types have their own dedicated update cycles.
