Replication package for Hoang Dao, "Shifted Cancellations: How Incumbent Airlines Deprioritise Contested Routes after Southwest Enters an Airport" (submitted to the International Journal of Industrial Organization), and for the companion papers on airline fares, amenities and reliability and the meta-analysis of low-cost entry effects. The archive contains code that downloads and processes every public source (U.S. Bureau of Transportation Statistics: DB1B Market, T-100 Domestic Segment, Reporting Carrier On-Time Performance, Form 41 financial schedules), processed analysis panels, and scripts that reproduce all tables and figures. See README.md for the folder structure and run order. Files. The package is split into seven zip archives that unpack into one folder: 1_code_docs_small_data.zip (README, all code, small processed files), 2_data_t100_segments.zip, 3_data_ops_panel.zip and 4_data_otp_part1-4.zip (processed BTS on-time performance aggregates). Unzip all of them in the same directory.
