Inverse estuaries of the Casamance and Saloum Rivers : salinity measurement

Two series of salinity measurement data 1- Five CTD sensors located in the Casamance estuary implemented gradually from 2014 to 2017 The equipment is composed of Decagon CTD 10 sensors connected with Decagon Em50 data logger 2- Forty measurement points documented twice a year at the end of rainy season and at the end of dry season Salinity is measured with: - a conductimeter Hanna 98129 for values less than 2 mS/cm - a conductimeter Hanna 98130 for values between 2 to 20 mS/cm - a refractometer PCE 0100 for values above 20 mS/cm Fig1 : The Decagon CTD sensor Fig 2 : The Decagon Em50 data logger Fig 3 : Three generations of water level sensors Fig 4 : The Baila CTD station Fig 5 : Measurement with the Hanna 98130 conductimeter Fig 6 : Measurement with the PCE 0100 refractometer
