Studies of microbial ecology on urban drainage pipelines

Urban drainage pipelines are of great significance as ecological infrastructure of the city. However, the sources and ecological processes of microbial communities in these systems remain poorly understood. In this study, we conducted in-situ sampling of sewage and stormwater pipelines to systematically investigate characteristics of microbial communities in these unique habitats.
