Replication data for our article \"Patterns and temporal trends in canine breakage and scarring in Western Hudson Bay polar bears (Ursus maritimus)\" by Tremblay SS, McGeachy D, Lunn NJ, Richardson ES, and Derocher AE. Study focuses on understanding intraspecific injury patterns in polar bears, specifically canine breakage and scarring. Study is located in the western Hudson Bay, which is in northeastern Manitoba, northwestern Ontario, and southern Nunavut, Canada. We assessed age- and sex-specific occurrences of canine breakage and scarring in 3493 individuals between 1981-2023 using non-parametric statistical analyses and linear mixed effect models.
