Sediment-Oil-Floc laboratory oil mineral aggregate (OMA) jar tests (stage-2) data conducted in the Center for Applied Coastal Research of Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering, University of Delaware

The dataset contains a part of the experimental run data collected in laboratory studies by a series of tests. This is the second part of that multilayered experiment. In this part of the experiment, more data on the settling dynamics of oil mineral aggregates (OMAs) was collected by measuring floc size, porosity, density and the settling velocity of each droplet using an instrument called LabSFLOC-2, which consists of a digital video microscope and processing package. This dataset contains images and video taken by LabSFLOC-2 camera and digital microscope analysis. The dataset also includes floc properties data (density, size, concentration, and settling velocities). These data are used to study the formation of OMAs in the laboratory.
