The AC permanent magnet motor patent analysis dataset mainly includes patent data related to AC permanent magnet motors from the global patent database. It conducts statistics on the patent data using a self-developed algorithm to identify key patents. This dataset can be used to horizontally and vertically understand the changes in global patent data and technological development trends of AC permanent magnet motors, as well as the differences in technological innovation capabilities and innovation levels among enterprises and individuals from various countries and regions, providing enterprises with suggestions on R&D cooperation, technology introduction or technology output. 1. Statistical sorting and clustering models are adopted to process the bibliographic items of patent data, including the following: 1. Data Source: Global patent database; 2. Data Collection: Screen patents related to AC permanent magnet motors from the global patent database based on IPC classification numbers and key fields, record their bibliographic information, and form a patent database for AC permanent magnet motors; 3. Key Patent Screening: The key degree of a patent is defined by the number of cited patents and the number of simple patent families, i.e., the patent key degree Y = X1 + X2, where X1 represents the number of cited patents and X2 represents the number of simple patent families. After confirming the key degree of each patent, the top 20 patents sorted by the key degree value are selected as key patents and marked as "Yes", while the others are marked as "No". A combined function of IF and RANK is specifically used for this process.
