Type I interferon upregulates proteins that inhibit HIV replication within infected cells. Here, we characterize IFN-induced gene expression in HIV target cells, primary CD4+ T cells, isolated from several whole blood donors. Cells were collected 0, 3, 6, 12, and 24 hours after treatment with 1000 U/mL IFN-beta and transcriptional changes were evaluated by bulk RNA-seq.
