Cornell - IMain Lined Ductile Iron Pipe Test, Load Rate Sensitivity Test

This report presents the results of a large-scale axial pull tests on lined ductile iron (DI) pipe connected with bell-spigot joints. The primary purpose of these tests was to determine a) if there was preferential failure when pulling on the bell end or the spigot end, b) determine if the rate of axial pull affected the load-displacement results, and c) investigate the effects of an initial joint rotation of potential debonding between the liner and the host pipe.
