Microbiota analysis of oral wash samples and B cells-internalized bacteria

This study investigates the microbial composition of oral wash samples and the subset of bacteria internalized by human primary B cells. Oral wash samples collected from healthy individuals underwent direct genomic DNA extraction for 16S rRNA gene sequencing. The V3 V4 regions of the 16S rRNA gene were PCR-amplified and sequenced on the Illumina MiSeq platform.
