Exporing the PSD of RX J1140.1+030: an IMBH accreting at super-Eddington rate

So far there is only one AGN, Ark 564, whose power spectral density (PSD) showsa multiLorentzian shape which is similar to that seen in BHBs emitting in thevery high state.. Recently we discovered that the PSD of the NLS1 RXJ1140.1+0307, which is claimed to harbor an intermediate mass black hole with asuperEddington accretion rate, also appears to have more than one Lorentziancomponent. However, the previous XMM observation is too short to extend the PSDto lower frequency. Therefore we propose a long (120 ks) XMMNewton observationof RX J1140.1+0307, in order to perform a deep investigation of its PSD, alongwith other variability properties.
