AssamMedicinal-36

The AssamMedicinal-36 dataset comprises 30,160 high-resolution images of 36 medicinal plant species native to Assam and the Northeastern region of India. Images were captured using a Samsung S24 smartphone and standardised to 1024 \u00d7 720 pixels, covering leaf-level under natural lighting conditions. The dataset includes a structured directory of species-wise folders and an accompanying csv file containing class names, scientific names, family names, and sample counts. Designed for machine learning and computer vision applications, AssamMedicinal-36 provides a valuable benchmark for medicinal plant classification, fine-grained visual recognition, mobile identification systems, and botanical research.
