THE PATIENT PATHWAY IN FIBROMYALGIA THROUGH THE HEALTHCARE SYSTEM AND THE ROLE OF THE PATIENT ASSOCIATION AS A SUPPORT NETWORK

This paper is based on an anonymous online survey conducted among members of the Fibromyalgia Association. A total of 419 respondents participated, representing 65% of the association’s 642 active members. The analysis is descriptive and includes data on the sample, time to diagnosis, sources of information, contacts with general practitioners, specialist and physiotherapy care, and self-management strategies
