Street Centre Line (OpenData)

This entity describes the centreline of a formed Street or other navigable transport routes (for example Pedestrian Mall) that have valid street addresses and are used for Access. An exception is short, 1m lengths on islands that have no other streets because we have properties in the system on those roads. It is spatially abstracted to a Line that is segmented at each intersection (for example Colombo Street is comprised of many segments) and may also be artifically segmented for Uturn bays or to resolve number range discrepincingy. Nodes The Line must be digitized in the direction of the street numbering, starting from low numbers, ending on high numbers. eg. 1-9,2-10. The exception, if the segment is a one way street, it must be digitized in the direction of traffic, and have the OneWay attribute set to TRUE. eg. 1-9,2-10 (if the traffic flows with the street numbering) or 9-1,10-2 (if the traffic flows against the street numbering) The Geometry must not be a collection Entity type: Concept A streetcenterline segment never has it's roadname changed, to preserve the history if a road name is to be rename then the segment is deleted and recreated a new, the address in that segment are also deleted and replaced.
