Hydrography centerlines for the National Capital Region (NCR), National Park Service units representing features such as streams and rivers. This is a subset of the data found in the NCR Hydrography feature layer. This dataset supports the implementation of National Park Service Management Policies. In addition, among other policies, laws, orders, etc., this dataset supports the Modernizing Access to Our Public Land Act or the MAPLand Act (Pub. L. 117–114, §1, Apr. 29, 2022, 136 Stat. 1175-1177) and the Geospatial Data Act (43 USC Ch. 46: GEOSPATIAL DATA).
