Traffic Events and Road Works (changes)

This data feed gives you access to changes in traffic event and roadworks data in real time - via an AMQP (Advanced Message Queuing Protocol). The feed contains information about accidents, shed loads, wind warnings on bridges and other event types. You will find information on affected areas, and often the estimated time before the road is cleared after an incident. Slippery roads and major planned events, like large sport events, that transported traffic are also part of this data feed. Most of the data is often ongoing and planned road works. You will get road works from all national highways and state roads, but also major roadworks and planned events from around 50 out of the 98 Danish municipalities. You can find an updated map showing the municipalities providing information under "downloads" on this page. PLEASE NOTE: * From 1. October 2026, traffic messages from municipalities regarding road works and events will no longer be included in the data feed. * The feed will only contain traffic messages for which the Danish Road Directorate is the data owner, as well as messages from Storebæltsbroen (Sund & Bælt). This datafeed can be used in combination with the datafeed "Traffic Events and Roadworks (Snapshot)", since the snapshot feed can be used for calibration.
