Data for differences in SOC fractions between peatlands and marshes with emphasis on microbial necromass contributions

This dataset supports the study on the distribution and characteristics of microbial necromass, mineral-associated organic carbon (MAOC), and particulate organic carbon (POC) across different wetland types.This dataset was collected from the Irtysh River Basin in Xinjiang, China, and contains measurements related to soil organic carbon (SOC) and its components, including microbial necromass carbon and other carbon fractions.
