Foreshore Segment (OpenData)

This entity describes the stretch of land adjacent to the sea. The coverage extends from a Rating Unit or Asset Street Catchment out to the estimated Mean Low Water Spring tide and is further defined by features in close proximity, such as place names, parks or localities. Designed to allow consents, assets, request for service (RFS) etc. to be assigned to a property type where no Rating Unit exists. It is spatially abstracted to an area.
