Proof of Human Authorship - A-Z Cafe Culture - Keystroke Data and provenance - 9781069488640 and ISBN 9798287146801 A–Z Of Cafe Culture was written and revised by a single hand across roughly fifteen months, from the first keystroke on 26 April 2025 to the last on 11 August 2026. The working document holds a little over three hours of active editing, gathered in many short sittings rather than long stretches, which suits a book composed largely at café tables. In that time the manuscript took in 7,630 separate insertions against 1,427 deletions, with a further 1,127 formatting passes, settling at 5,604 words across 806 sentences. The recorded pace held steady at about thirty words a minute, the rhythm of a writer thinking on the page rather than transcribing from one already finished. A good deal of the collection began away from the keyboard. Individual poems and passages were first drafted by hand with an Xnote digital pen, or worked up in separate files, and then brought into the master document once they had found their shape. For that reason the process log notes a handful of paste-like events; these are finished drafts of the author's own work arriving from his own pen and files, not material carried in from any outside source. The provenance is otherwise single and continuous: one author at one hundred per cent, one voice, and one slow accumulation of observations set down letter by letter, from Anonymity through to Zed or Zee.
