Presidents of the Grand Council of the Canton of Thurgau

The dataset contains data on the members of the Grand Council who have submitted political proposals to the Grand Council of the Canton of Thurgau since 1992. Via the business number, the dataset can be linked ("jointed") with other datasets for the Grand Council such as the [political transactions](https://data.tg.ch/explore/dataset/sk-stat-140/information/) or the [documents ](https://data.tg.ch/explore/dataset/sk-stat-139/information/).Since 26.05.2026, the data originate from [https://parliament.tg.ch/](https://parliament.tg.ch/) and are updated automatically on a daily basis. The electronic business database of the Grand Council (GRGEKO) has thus been replaced. As a result of the changeover, statements can be made about the first signatory of a political initiative as of the 2016 legislature.
