Priority Natural Resource Corridors

Priority Natural Resource Corridors is a subset of the Hennepin County Open Space Corridors feature class. Data set illustrates the general locations of priority natural resource corridors in Hennepin County. Criteria for Priority Corridor: Natural Community Quality - Potential for Rare Species - Good to High Quality Natural Areas Other Unique and/or Ecologically Significant Areas - Moderate to High Quality Natural Areas Large publicly and privately owned and protected open spaces (e.g. Regional Parks, Scientific and Natural Areas, Wildlife Management Areas, Waterfowl Production Areas, The Nature Conservancy, Wildlife Refuges, Conservation Easements) Connectivity - Natural corridors with natural/semi-natural areas that would serve as logical links between Ecologically Significant Areas (e.g. lakes, streams, wetland complexes, drainage ways, floodplains, steep slopes) Data Creation: The data was developed from the analyses of high resolution aerial photography and several GIS datasets, including but not limited to: Ecologically Significant Areas - a subset of the Hennepin County Minnesota Land Cover Classification System National Wetland Inventory Hennepin County Wetland Inventory Public Waters Inventory Regional Parks Permanent Conservation Easements Soils FEMA Floodplains Minnesota Department of Natural Resources Scientific Natural Areas Minnesota Department of Natural Resources County Biological Survey Sites Regional Parks and other protected open spaces U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service National Wildlife Refuge System, Wildlife Management Areas and Waterfowl Protection Areas Link to Attribute Table Information: https://gis.hennepin.us/OpenData/Metadata/Priority%20Natural%20Resource%20Corridors.pdf优先自然资源廊道（Priority Natural Resource Corridors）是亨内平县开放空间廊道要素类的一个子集。本数据集展示了亨内平县内优先自然资源廊道的大致分布位置。 优先廊道的判定标准如下： 1. 自然群落质量（Natural Community Quality）：具备珍稀物种生存潜力的优质至高质量自然区域； 2. 其他独特且/或具有生态重要性的区域：中等至高质量的自然区域； 3. 大型公有与私有保护开放空间：例如区域公园、科学自然区、野生动物管理区、水禽生产区、大自然保护协会（The Nature Conservancy）保护地、野生动物保护区、保护地役权区域； 4. 连通性：可作为生态重要区域（Ecologically Significant Areas）之间合理连接纽带的自然/半自然廊道，此类区域包括湖泊、溪流、湿地综合体、排水沟渠、洪泛平原、陡坡等。 数据创建说明：本数据集通过高分辨率航空影像及多项地理信息系统（GIS）数据集分析开发而成，涵盖（但不限于）以下数据源：生态重要区域（Ecologically Significant Areas，为明尼苏达州亨内平县土地覆盖分类系统的子集）、国家湿地清单（National Wetland Inventory）、亨内平县湿地清单、公共水域清单、区域公园、永久保护地役权、土壤数据、联邦应急管理局（FEMA）洪泛平原数据、明尼苏达州自然资源部科学自然区、明尼苏达州自然资源部县域生物调查点位、区域公园及其他受保护开放空间、美国鱼类及野生动物管理局（U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service）国家野生动物保护区系统、野生动物管理区及水禽保护区。 属性表信息链接：https://gis.hennepin.us/OpenData/Metadata/Priority%20Natural%20Resource%20Corridors.pdf
