DNA metabarcoding of spider diet

Spiders are one of the most abundant predators of insects in terrestrial ecosystems. Abundant spider species have been recorded occurrence in agroecosystems. The study goal is to unravel the prey composition of spider using DNA metabarcoding and evaluate the potential of spider as the biocontrol agents of insect pests in integrated pest management strategy.
