Enterococcus durans 98D alters gut microbial composition and function to improve DSS-induced colitis in mice

This study utilized Enterococcus durans 98D to treat mice with DSS-induced colitis, exploring the therapeutic effects of Enterococcus durans 98D on colitis and revealing the mechanism of alleviating colitis through changes in the colonic microbiota mediated by Enterococcus durans 98D, as demonstrated by 16S rRNA gene sequencing.
