Here, SBET (m2/g) represents a total surface area from the BET equation, Smicro (m2/g) denotes the surface area of the micropores, Smeso (m2/g) represents the surface area of the mesopores calculated by subtracting the Smicro from the SBET, Sext (m2/g) is the external surface area, Vtotal (cm3/g) is the total volume occupied by the micro and mesopores, Vmicro (cm3/g) is the volume occupied by the micropores, Vmeso (cm3/g) represents the mesopore volume and, APD (nm) is the average diameter of the pores.
