VPRS 20522 Board of Management Minutes and Agendas Papers

This series comprises the minutes and agendas, and related papers, of the Board of Management of the Ballarat Base Hospital (VA 1263) and Ballarat Health Services (VA 5500). The Board of Management was the prime decision-making and policy body of the Hospital, and after its amalgamation into Ballarat Health Services in 1996, also The Queen Elizabeth Centre (VA 1284). The minutes document board decisions and the process and/or proceedings, by which those decisions were made. They were used to convey board decisions to the executives who then implement the decisions, and served as reference for the board if it wished to revisit a decision. Included in the documents are agendas, minutes and related papers such as reports, recommendations, key performance indicators, correspondence, and strategic plans.
