Mytilus edulis species complex transcriptomes

Transcriptomes from Mytilus edulis, M. galloprovincialis, and their hybrids were sequenced after two weeks at a control or elevated temperature to investigate the transcriptomic mechanisms contributing to thermal tolerance, and the impacts oh hybridization on those mechanisms. In the context of global climate change, these topics are increasingly relevant as we consider the potential mechanisms for species persistence in a warming world.
