Effects of four treatments (control, rice straw addition, gypsum addition, and hematite addition) on the redox-controlled cadmium and arsenic mobility in a paddy soil were investigated via an incubation experiment. Soil were sampled at different time points. Soil chemical properties were determined and soil DNA extracted. Amplicons of the V3–V4 regions of the 16 S rRNA gene were sequenced on a Illumina MiSeq platform.
