This dataset supports the doctoral thesis 'Understanding gender differences of playtime behaviours of autistic children in mainstream primary school' by Hannah Kemp, awarded by the University of Southampton in 2024. It comprises: Transcripts of the Ideal Playtime (adaptation of The Ideal School, Moran 2001) x16 Playground observation of peer engagement (POPE) x16 Mean scores- the proportion of time spent in three categories of peer engagement.
