This dataset is a digital archive of Greek press coverage related to the National Theater of Greece, compiled from the institution’s official publications archive (https://www.nt-archive.gr/publications). It contains structured metadata, direct PDF references, and OCR-extracted text from newspaper and magazine articles published between 1 February 1932 and 13 October 2023, covering approximately 91 years of Greek theatrical journalism, criticism, and cultural discourse. The collection documents the public and critical reception of productions staged by the National Theatre of Greece across multiple historical periods, including reviews, interviews, features, opinion pieces, announcements, and broader theatre commentary published in the Greek press. Each entry includes bibliographic metadata about the publication, links to scanned archival PDFs, and a best-effort OCR transcription of the original article text.
