Halyomorpha halys hts

Our study aimed to identify viruses associated with Halyomorpha halys. In this context, RNA was isolated from adult H. halys specimens collected from hazelnut orchards in Giresun, Turkey, and high-throughput sequencing (HTS) analysis was performed. Based on the obtained results, the samples were found to harbor Iflavirus aladeformis. In addition, two short contigs showed sequence similarity to a granulovirus; therefore, these sequences were considered to be putative endogenous viral elements (EVEs).
