Tracing biomass and living organisms

This report within the Hydrogeology module reviews mechanisms of tracing distribution of aquatic macro- and micro-organisms and assess their biomass. Several case studies comprising of geochemical, isotopic and eDNA (environmental DNA) metabarcoding applications from literatures have been discussed in this context.
