Due to high mortality rate of rabies and lack of effective treatment, animal rabies annually presents a serious public health threat and heavy economic burden per year worldwide.Therefore, analyzing rabies epidemiological trends by sequencing viruses is of great significances for prevention and control of rabies, and provides updated information for improving current control and prevention strategies.
