We propose to use INTEGRAL SPI and IBIS to measure gamma-raylines and hard X-ray continua to clarify the mechanismsnucleosynthesis and dynamics of sufficiently nearbysupernovae -- beyond those observations reserved for the coreprogram. These might include important additional observationsof objects that do meet the guaranteed time trigger andobservations of detectable supernovae that do not satisfy thecriterion V < 13. The requested observations vary from single earlytests of a specific question (56Ni near the surface) for relatively distant SN Ia to extensive observations for very nearby events. We define the Target of Opportunity trigger criteria clearly for eachcategory by effectively specifying a complete list of potential hostgalaxies. Although there is a low probability of any of these events ina given year we did acquire data on SN 2003gs which met our criterion in year one. [truncated! Please see actual data for full text]
