UNVEILING THE INTRINSIC X-RAY PROPERTIES OF THE 12 MICRON SY2 SAMPLE: TOWARDS A

The proposed observation of seven obscured AGN are necessary to obtain acomplete and uniform coverage of the Xray emission for the sample of Seyfert2galaxies from the 12micron galaxy sample (12MGS). Coupled with the broadbandXray observations available for the remaining 12MGS AGN, the proposedobservations will allow us to investigate the column density distribution at lowredshift for a complete and unbiased AGN sample (because of its midIRselection) and to connect the accretion properties to those of the hosts byexploiting the unique multiband characterization and coverage of the proposedsample. truncated!, Please see actual data for full text [truncated!, Please see actual data for full text]
