The ViWi dataset, developed by Arizona State University, is a deep learning dataset framework for vision-aided wireless communications. Generated by advanced 3D modeling and ray tracing software to produce high-fidelity synthetic visual and wireless data samples, this dataset aims to address core challenges in wireless communications such as millimeter-wave beam and blockage prediction. The ViWi dataset comprises four sub-datasets, each containing a quadruple of images, depth maps, wireless channels, and user positions. The dataset creation process involves three primary stages: scene definition, raw data generation, and parameterization processing, and it is suitable for researching and solving various problems in vision-aided wireless communications.
