We ask for 3 blocks of 50 ks each to observe in Triggered Observation modeup to 3 blazars, conditional to stringent and well defined triggering criteriabased on optical brightening or Xray brightening or detection in the TeV band.The XMMNewton satellite, with its high throughput and good spectralresolution, is crucial for determining the spectral distribution and its timeevolution for blazars in a flaring state, and thus for constraining anyemission model.
