Mix Preparation in Contemporary Record Production: Evaluation Survey Samples (Supplementary Material 3)

A representative sample of six completed evaluation surveys from the doctoral research titled Mix Preparation in Contemporary Record Production: An Ethnographic Investigation of Foundational Workflows in Digital Audio Mixing (University of West London, 2026). Surveys cover Participants 6, 9, 14, 15, 16, and 17, selected to illustrate the range of dimensional scores and professional judgements captured across the full evaluation dataset of twenty-seven completed surveys. Each survey documents assessment of a prepared session version across five dimensional categories: session organisation, signal integrity and technical standards, musical refinement and performance integrity, processing boundaries and intervention appropriateness, and contextual appropriateness and workflow impact. Full evaluation methodology is documented in Section 3.3.3 of the thesis and full results are presented in Section 4.2. These materials are provided for examination purposes only.
