BIS Exchange-Traded Derivatives Statistics is a database maintained by the Bank for International Settlements (BIS) that provides global exchange-traded derivatives statistical data, covering trading volumes and open interest of foreign exchange and interest rate futures and options. This database collects data from commercial data sources, covering trading activities across more than 50 global exchanges. The core contribution of the BIS is to convert the number of contracts into notional amounts, enabling cross-exchange comparability of activity levels and trends.
