Wastewater Viral Activity Levels (WVALs) Current Statewide Weekly Health

This dataset includes current and historical wastewater viral activity levels (WVALs) calculated from influenza A, respiratory syncytial virus (RSV), and SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) concentrations measured in Pennsylvania wastewater. The wastewater is collected from municipal wastewater treatment plants in Pennsylvania that have participated or are currently participating in wastewater surveillance. Data are updated on Mondays at 10:30am. The WVAL numbers may represent risk of infection of the three pathogens in a community, where a higher WVAL number may indicate a higher risk of infection.
