Crossings between Biomphalaria glabrata populations

Pairing and mass crossbreeding were performed between pigmented low susceptibility and albino susceptible snails. Adult F1 and F2 snails were individually challenged with SmLE miracidia. Snail-parasite compatibility was assessed using several parameters, and reproductive biology was evaluated in both unchallenged and infected snails.
