Spatial Structure of Overionized Plasmas in G346.6-0.2 and G359.1-0.5

We propose observations of the mixedmorphology supernova remnants (MM SNRs)G346.60.2 and G359.10.5, where presence of overionized plasmas was recentlyrevealed by Suzaku observations. Although there are a number of similaritiesbetween the two objects, the measured abundances are largely different. Theprimary objectives of our proposed observations are to investigate the spatialdistribution of the plasma parameters and abundances, and to resolve the entireplasma into ISM and ejecta components in each SNR. Accurate measurements oftheir ionization states provide a strong constraint on the origin of bothoverionization and peculiar morphology. truncated!, Please see actual data for full text [truncated!, Please see actual data for full text]
